Introduction to Shatrah, Iraq
Shatrah is a city in the Dhi Qar Governorate of southeastern Iraq, located near the marshland formed by the confluence of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, about 50 kilometers from the provincial capital of Nasiriyah. The city is situated in the Mesopotamian Plain, with a hot, dry climate and a predominantly agricultural economy that relies on date palm cultivation, rice cultivation, and animal husbandry.
