Located in the southwestern part of China's Guangdong Province, Yangxi County is part of Yangjiang City and is situated on the western flank of the Pearl River Delta, bordering the South China Sea, with a total area of about 1,451 square kilometers. The population is about 500,000, mainly Han Chinese, and the language is mainly Cantonese and Hakka.
