Merligen is a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Thun in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, nestled in the northern foothills of the Alps and close to the famous tourist city of Interlaken. Merlin is situated on the western shore of Lake Thun, backed by the Nissen and Stokke peaks, with a shoreline of about 1.5 kilometers. Thun and Interlaken are easily accessible by boat from Merlin.
