Zhenjiang is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, China, located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal cross golden waterway, and is an important member of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area and an important port city in the Yangtze River Delta. The city has a total area of 3,840 square kilometers and a resident population of about 3.21 million.

Zhenjiang is a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than 3,000 years, and legends such as the Legend of the White Snake and Liu Bei's invitations to marriage originated here.
