Xindu, Sichuan: A Thousand-Year-Old Cultural City in the North of Chengdu
Xindu is a municipal district of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, located in the north of Chengdu city center. It is one of the birthplaces of the ancient Shu civilization, and is known as the "Pearl of Tianfu" and the "Fragrance Capital". The county was established in the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,000 years since then. Famous historical figures such as Yang Shengli and Yang Shen (Yang Shengan) are all from here.
