Nukunonu Atoll of Tokelau is one of the three atolls of the Tokelau Archipelago, located in the central South Pacific Ocean, about 480 kilometers from New Zealand. As the capital and administrative center of Tokelau, Nukunonu Atoll covers an area of about 5.5 square kilometers and has a population of about 450, making it the largest settlement in the archipelago.
