Introduction to Heidrí Sande, Iceland
Heidrí Sand is not a country or a city, but a small settlement in southeast Iceland, located near the town of Hofn. It is situated at the foot of the magnificent Vatna Glacier, close to the famous Jägulsárlón glacial lake, making it an ideal base for exploring Iceland's natural wonders. Reykjavík is about a 4-hour drive from Reykjavík along Ring Road 1, and is recommended in summer to avoid the harsh winters.
