Handan, a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province, is located at the junction of four provinces in southern Hebei, and is a node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cooperative Development Strategy. As the capital of the State of Zhao during the Warring States period, Handan has a history of 3,100 years and is a "National Famous Historical and Cultural City", which has given birth to more than 1,500 Chinese idioms, such as "Handan learning to walk" and "taking a bramble to ask for a crime". The city is known as the "Capital of Chinese Idioms and Tales". The city is rich in cultural heritage, including the ruins of Zhao Wangcheng, Nuwa Palace (a World Heritage Site), and Guangfu Ancient City (a representative of ancient cities in northern China).
