Feidong County, part of Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, is located in the eastern part of Hefei, the provincial capital, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle, and is an important part of the Hefei Metropolitan Area. The county has a total area of about 2,181 square kilometers and a population of about 860,000, with agriculture, manufacturing and modern services as its economic pillars.
