Beitang is an important part of Liangxi District in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, located in the northwest of Wuxi's central city, which is known as "Beitang City" in ancient times, and is a famous historical and cultural area along the Jiangnan Canal. It is named after the ancient canal "Beitang River", and has been the transportation hub and commercial town of Wuxi since ancient times.
