About Aztec City, New Mexico, USA
It should be noted that there is no city in the U.S. state of Arizona with the name "Aztec," which actually refers to the city of Aztec in northwestern New Mexico. This San Juan County town is adjacent to Colorado and is known for the well-preserved ruins of the Pueblo civilization.
